WHAT IS A LIONS CLUB?

ü The Sedalia Lions Club is part of Lions International, the world’s largest service organization. Lions truly do make a difference in the world, helping to save sight and in many other projects in our communities.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE LIONS CLUB?

ü Our Motto is “We Serve.” In addition to serving our community and the world, we enjoy fellowship and fun.

IS THE LIONS CLUB ONLY FOR MEN?

ü Lions International is open to men and women, and any race or religion.

DO LIONS COLLECT EYEGLASSES?

ü Lions do accept and collect donations of used eyeglasses. They are sorted, repaired, and sent to the needy in third world countries. We also assist in corneal donations, so that the “gift of sight” can happen again and again.

WHEN DOES THE CLUB MEET?

ü Every Wednesday at Noon, in the Gamblers Room at Best Western
